Invited by our university, at the Qiming Forum held at 9:30 am on July 5, 2022, Hefei light source high-end users, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, academicians of the European Academy of Sciences, members of the Chinese Chemical Society, Professor Chi Lifeng of Soochow University visited the National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory to give a speech entitled Surface Carbon-Hydrogenation: Lecture on Selective dehydrogenation, Coupling and Transformation of normal alkanes, hosted by Prof. Junfa Zhu.
At the beginning of the lecture, Professor Zhu Junfa gave a brief introduction to Academician Chi Lifeng and expressed his gratitude to Professor Chi for his visit to HKUST to make an academic report.
In the lecture, Academician Chi Lifeng combined with the research results of his research group, elaborated some of the latest research progress of surface hydrocarbon chemistry, and prospected the development of surface in-situ chemistry. After the lecture, the participating teachers and students actively discussed, and Ms. Chi answered the questions patiently and professionally.
