Mainly conducts researches on surface chemistry and catalysis, surface self-assembly and reaction, physical chemistry of the surface interface of thin film functional materials and organic photoelectric devices, and in situ research methodology of synchrotron radiation, etc. And have published more than 320 papers in Nature Comm., J. Am. Chem. Soc. And Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. and other domestic and foreign core journals, which have been cited more than 11,000 times, h-index is 58. Since returned to China in December 2006, he has participated in more than 10 scientific research projects, such as key and general projects of The National Natural Science Foundation of China, key special sub-projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Doctoral program fund of the Ministry of Education, directional projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 973 Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology. At the same time, responsible for the construction, open operation, and management of Catalysis and Surface Science Station and Photoelectron Energy Spectrum Station in NSRL.
