Cross-strait synchrotron Radiation Devices and Applications Seminar

Conference theme: Cross-Strait synchrotron radiation device construction and application for the middle of the 21st century

Synchrotron radiation light source has important applications in the fields of physics, chemistry, materials, biology and environmental science because of its advantages of high intensity, high resolution and adjustable energy. In order to strengthen the academic exchanges between relevant personnel in the field of synchrotron radiation device construction and applied research on both sides of the Strait, enhance mutual friendship, promote the in-depth cooperation between the two sides of the Strait in related research fields, promote the application and development of synchrotron radiation technology on both sides of the Strait, and help Hefei advanced light source construction, The National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory of the University of Science and Technology of China and the Department of Physics of Tamkang University of Taiwan will jointly organize the 2023 Cross-Straits Symposium on Synchrotron Radiation Devices and Applications in Jinhua, Zhejiang, from September 1-4, 2023. The theme of this conference is Cross-Strait synchrotron  radiation Device Construction and Application for the mid-21st century, and the content will cover the construction of advanced synchrotron radiation devices, beam development, in-situ technology and cutting-edge scientific research. We will invite experts engaged in the construction of synchrotron radiation devices, line and station construction and   scientists and scholars engaged in synchrotron radiation application from both sides to share their construction experience and research results, introduce the latest progress and application fields of synchrotron radiation technology, and jointly discuss the bottlenecks, technological development and cutting-edge research of synchrotron radiation technology and application fields in the world today.

The forms of communication include keynote reports, invitation reports, oral reports, wall posters and various technical demonstrations. The conference will provide a platform for cross-Straits experts and scholars in the field of synchrotron radiation to exchange, learn and cooperate with each other, further promote the construction and application of synchrotron radiation devices on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to jointly improve the level of scientific and technological innovation, cooperation and development.
